About
Jane Borstad (she/they) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Minneapolis, MN. Jane’s oil pastel drawings and paintings use bright, otherworldly colors and shapes to explore themes of fantasy, queerness, and a deep connection to nature.
Jane earned a BFA in Visual Arts and a minor in Design from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2020.
From 2022 to 2024, Jane worked as Manager of Marketing and Design at Franconia Sculpture Park. In addition to managing graphic design and marketing, Jane notably planned the Music @ Franconia concert series for multiple years, including writing grants for funding. Jane also had a lead role in creating, planning, and grant-writing for Franconia’s Puppets in the Park Halloween Hayride, Midsummer Pride Party, Midwinter Party.
